About us

This is the course page for 96-838 Special Topics Seminar: Craft of Software Development (Craftmanship) taught at Carnegie Mellon University's Silicon Valley Campus. This course is part of the software engineering masters program.

The purpose of this course it to help students learn apprenticeship skills to help them become better software developers. We view these skills as useful throughout the career of a software developer.

While this website is currently dedicated for the course, we welcome software practitioners input provided that it is constructive.
